Jena Lee is a West Coast appraiser and consultant with over a decade of experience in the research and valuation of fine art and residential contents. Specializing in Modern and Contemporary paintings, prints and multiples, she has extensive experience in estate appraisal and an expansive knowledge of 19th and 20th Century American and European furniture, decorations and fine silver. Lee provides professional valuation services and USPAP-compliant appraisal reports for the intended uses of insurance, charitable donation, damage/loss claims, estate taxes and wealth distribution. Her clients include individual collectors, insurance agents, lawyers, trusts and estates, banks, corporations and cultural institutions. As a member of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA), Lee adheres to the appraisal industry’s highest standard of professionalism and code of ethics, so clients can have confidence their appraisals have been completed with due diligence, accuracy and the utmost discretion. Lee received her post-graduate certificate in Personal Property Appraisal and the Uniform Standards for Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) from the University of Chicago, Graham School. She studied art history at the University of Illinois at Chicago and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in printmaking and sculpture from Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design. She currently serves as Co-Chair of Personal Property for Los Angeles Chapter of American Society of Appraisers.
